What is an energy community?
The EU's REDII directive encourages the consumption of locally produced green energy, thus also taking critical pressure off our electrical grids. One of these measures is the creation of energy communities, also known as microgrids or community solar. These communities need software to manage incentive distribution among members. Our FLEXO Community Manager facilitates the management of these communities, unlocks flexibility savings within each site, and so much more.
What is a community manager for?
Administrators of energy communities need software to manage members and to distribute incentives among them. Our FLEXO Community Manager gives them a back-end platform for this purpose, facilitating the management of multiple communities, incentive schema setup and administration, and beyond. It also provides a user-facing mobile app to keep members engaged and aware of their consumption, savings, and earnings.
